It was by no means an easy job. You had to control a crowd of nearly 500 revellers in a marquee over a programme lasting 6 hours. You had to communicate information to keep everybody safe and aware. You had to phase the collection of food for 48+ tables from the kitchen to the marquee with professional and volunteer help – and the clearing of those tables. Then there was the dancing, the raffle, the bar and the fireworks all under your domain and you had to remain charming and entertaining throughout!
It was brilliantly done with a firm hand with lots of humour – sometimes not easy given the inadequacies of the PA system.

It took over 30 years of running the Vintage Festival to get James in. All we can say is, we wish we had done it sooner. An MC to fit any occasion, James injected personality, clarity and professionalism to our event to the benefit of our 4000 customers, 80 producers and us.

I got to know Rebecca in her previous work at EY (Ernst & Young) where she invited me to speak at a meeting focused on G20-W20. Rebecca was instrumental in the creation of my organisation iamtheCODE and genuinely helped us with our strategy and mentoring processes. She gave us her time and really supported us. I was so impressed with her professionalism and vision to bring digital transformation into the lives of women and girls. Her drive to accelerate the power of women in business, government and entrepreneurship attracted me to work with her on many occasions. I highly recommend Rebecca as a mentor.

When the 30% Club decided to kick off its highly successful cross company mentoring scheme five years ago, Rebecca was appointed as the programme lead to work with a small group of our corporate members to design and implement the pilot of the scheme. She demonstrated her strategic yet practical approach by developing with our members a programme that was able to scale and sustain over time through the use of technology but also by building trust based relationships through her well honed influencing and leadership skills. The programme was founded on a reciprocal model with all time given by company leads, mentors and mentees on a pro-bono basis. What makes it a unique programme in the corporate space is the breadth and volume of women in the corporate pipeline who have now received high quality mentoring with 2346 mentees and mentors and 107 organisations having taken part. Rebecca was instrumental in getting the programme off the ground and ensuring it was built for success.
I worked with Rebecca at EY in her capacity as the global co-lead on EY’s Women Fast.forward. In particular, we collaborated on EY’s Entrepreneurial Winning Women and it’s launch across EMEIA as well as the 30% Club cross company mentoring scheme aimed at mid career women.
The programme today has seen over 2000 female mentees benefit from a cross company mentor from some of the biggest brands in the FTSE100 and it runs in largely the same way as the model established by Rebecca five years ago
She is a pleasure to work with and should be really proud of the lasting legacy she created.
Rebecca is a great strategic thinker, innovator and collaborator. Her passion for diversity, in particular women in the work place is evident in the connections she makes and innovation she brings to her work. Rebecca is an inspiration to those she works with. Rebecca worked with us to design, develop and moderate our Penna London Tech week event on Talent and AI. Through Rebecca’s network, we were able to attract an excellent keynote speaker and build a first class panel developing some powerful outcomes through the event. We were delighted with the results! As a result, we would strongly recommend Rebecca as both a facilitator and consultant if you’re thinking of organising a client facing or internal event. She not only has great gravitas but is able to engage the audience in a highly interactive way with impact.
Rebecca designed and facilitated a workshop for us to explore our business strategy exploring different options on how to grow and future proof our business.
